Vacuum Chlorinator
The series 200 gas feeder vacuum chlorinator can be used to feed ammonia, for chlorination schemes, sulfur dioxide, for chlorination-dechlorination applications, or carbon dioxide for pH reduction
Capital Controls Company, Inc.200 gas feeder vacuum chlorinator can be used to feed ammonia, for chlorination schemes, sulfur dioxide, for chlorination-dechlorination applications, or carbon dioxide for pH reduction. Using a cylinder of chlorine gas, a vacuum regulator and an ejector, the system is designed to work only when a vacuum is present, creating an automatic shutoff in the event of a failure. The ejector prevents backflow of water into the vacuum regulator by using a check valve. The vacuum regulator is engineered to prevent the pressure of the chlorine gas in the cylinder from escaping while allowing a controlled amount of gas to flow out under vacuum conditions.
