Rosemount 3095MFC Mass Flowmeter with Alignment Ring, and Rosemount 3051SFC FlowmeterChanhassen, MN — Emerson has enhanced its Rosemount 1595 Conditioning Orifice Plate for use in high pressure applications to ANSI 2500 and DIN PN100 and process applications requiring material compatibility such has hastelloy, monel and 304L SS. The Rosemount 1595 has extended use into applications involving installations between orifice fittings with the Universal plate style. The Rosemount 405C Compact Conditioning Plate product line now offers a unique centering option for ANSI, DIN and JIS standards which help facilitate proper alignment between pipe flanges, reducing installation time.

The Rosemount 1595 Conditioning Orifice Plate and 405C Compact Conditioning Orifice Plate enable users to extend the use of orifice plates into measurement points previously limited by existing piping configurations. These products deliver accurate and repeatable results downstream of a variety of flow disturbances that normally cause swirl in the flow process. Rosemount Conditioning Orifice Plate technology consists of four equally spaced holes that condition the flow profile for a more stable, accurate measurement. This unique design is the highest performing primary element available.

Rosemount Conditioning Orifice Plates require less straight run, significantly reducing material, labor and procurement costs. These devices can be installed virtually anywhere. The Conditioning Orifice Plate offers an economical way to retrofit installations that have experienced poor results caused by limited straight-run. Now that this innovative technology can be used in more applications, users will be able to extend orifice plates into multiple measurement points previously limited by existing piping configurations.

Integrating the Conditioning Orifice Plate with Rosemount transmitters as a flowmeter provides a more cost effective and reliable measurement. The unit arrives assembled, configured, and ready to install. The 3051SFC Flowmeter combines the new Compact Orifice design with the scalable architecture of the Rosemount 3051S transmitter. This flowmeter provides advanced software capability, including user configured flow units, low flow cut-off and customized process alerts. Installation flexibility is greatly improved because users are able to install their flowmeter directly in the process piping and position their display and communication ports at-grade level.

The Rosemount 3095MFC Mass Flowmeter integrates the Compact Orifice primary with the 3095 MultiVariable™ transmitter. This flowmeter enables accurate, compensated mass flow output by measuring differential pressure, pressure, and temperatures with a single device. This flowmeter is ideal for gas and steam applications where a compensated flow output is required.

The 3051SFC and 3095MFC are part of Emerson's broad range of intelligent, digital field devices that power the PlantWeb® digital plant architecture to improve plant efficiency by 2% and more through delivering asset optimization, process automation, and management execution. Further cost savings, increased plant availability, and enhanced safety and environmental compliance are achieved when the level transmitters are integrated into the PlantWeb architecture.
