Chemical Injection: Alloy 20 Injection Quill

Non-retractable Alloy 20 injection quills are ideal for chemical injection by injecting high concentrations of Sulfuric Acid. This non-retractable quill is best suited for installations into smaller diameter pipelines that can be shutdown or isolated to make maintenance of the quill possible for the chemical injection process. This Alloy 20 quill consist of the following components; Alloy 20 spring loaded ball check valve, Alloy 20 spring, Teflon ball, Viton Seats, and an Alloy 20 solution tube. Available in 3/4" MNPT main connection by 3/4" MNPT chemical connection.

Alloy 20 Properties
Alloy 20 is a highly alloyed iron-based nickel-chromium-molybdenum stainless steel developed primarily for use in the sulfuric acid related processes for chemical injection. Besides sulfuric acid related processes, some typical corrosion resistant applications for the alloy include chemical, pharmaceutical, food, plastic, synthetic fibers, pickling, plus many others. The high nickel content combined with chromium, molybdenum, and copper gives the alloy good resistance to pitting and chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking. The copper content combined with other elements gives the alloy excellent resistance to sulfuric acid corrosion under a wide variety of conditions.
