ATL To Exhibit And Present At The 2009 AWWA Water Quality Technology Conference

Accelerated Technology Laboratories, Inc. (ATL), leaders in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), is pleased to exhibit at the 2009 AWWA Water Quality Technology Conference and Exposition (WQTC) and demonstrate exciting new features in Sample Master Pro LIMS and Sample Master Result Point at Booth #306. The annual conference is scheduled for November 15th - 19th, 2009 at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle, Washington.

In addition to exhibiting, ATL's Dr. Christine Paszko and Joe Yorke of Fairfax Water will be participating in the poster session on Monday, November 16th with the presentation, "Key Steps to Follow in Replacing a LIMS in your Laboratory: A Case Study of a Water Quality Laboratory". This presentation will focus on the key steps that are required for a successful LIMS replacement project, from the Request for Proposal (RFP) creation, product demos, selection, purchase, deployment and data migration from the historical LIMS.

Drinking water quality is a global issue that requires constant research, evaluation, scrutiny, and advancement from industry leaders. Innovation in contaminant detection, new regulatory requirements, potential health issues, and increased security concerns are creating challenges that must be faced head-on. AWWA's WQTC is the event of the year for providing answers about quality water in a high-tech environment. WQTC keeps thousands of water quality professionals from across the globe up-to-date with the latest research, regulations, and technological advances for keeping drinking water safe. Attendees gain knowledge from experts in the field through a comprehensive schedule of high-quality workshops; oral, poster, and early bird technical sessions; and technical facility tours.

ATL's Sample Master Pro LIMS helps Water Quality Laboratories manage the flood of data, limited resources and complex infrastructure challenges. The feature rich modules allow Water Quality Laboratory Managers to address each area of the laboratory from sample login, tracking, data entry, QA/QC to web reporting with Result Point. ATL has been helping Water Quality Laboratories manage their data and creating value for over 15 years, with knowledge through experience from an ISO 9001:2000 company.

ATL will also be hosting a free, educational breakfast seminar focusing on why a LIMS is the key to streamlining water and wastewater laboratory operations and staying compliant on Tuesday, November 17th from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM at the Grand Hyatt Seattle. If you are interested in attending the seminar or have any questions, please contact Tiffany Bown at 1.800.565.LIMS (5467) or e-mail: tbown@atlab.com.
