Economically Priced Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer

A new microprocessor based, continuous monitoring dissolved oxygen (DO) analyzer has been introduced by Royce Technologies. The Model 9100 DO Analyzer is an economically priced instrument designed to provide the specifications normally required for the typical applications for continuous monitoring and control of DO. The complete Model 9100/95 System can be supplied with sensor and mounting hardware.

The Model 9100 is a digital readout, fully automatic instrument with features such as: 0-100 PPM or 0-99.9 percent saturation DO range, push-button automatic calibration, automatic altitude and salinity correction, and self-diagnostic electronics. Standard outputs on the instrument are 4-20ma or RS485 digital output, and an on/off control relay.

An optional sensor air cleaning system called the Jet Clean System is available for applications where the Model 95 DO Sensor membrane has a tendency to foul. The new jet clean system can be used with house air or with an available miniature air compressor system. With the use of this membrane cleaning system it is not uncommon for the Model 9100/95 system to operate continuously without maintenance or recalibration in excess of 6 months.

Common applications for the new DO system are the continuous monitoring and control of dissolved oxygen in aeration processes in wastewater treatment basins or lagoons, hatchery systems for aquaculture, or the continuous monitoring of DO in environmental or conservation projects.
