This 180 m3/d (50,000 gpd) advanced wastewater treatment plant serves the existing commercial center, a school and a new subdivision of a summer recreational and bedroom community located on an island a short ferry ride from Vancouver.
Due to limited space available, the plant was installed within a community park. Small footprint, noise reduction design, and ‘no' odor nature of the USBF process combined to make the installation possible.
