EPA Announces More Than $955 Million In Funds For Water And Wastewater Infrastructure Projects

In a move that stands to create thousands of jobs, boost local economies, improve aging water infrastructure and protect human health and the environment for people nationwide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded more than $955 million, collectively, to 16 states. This new infusion of money will help state and local governments finance many of the overdue improvements to water and wastewater projects that are essential to protecting public health and the environment.
